An all ages event, that will showcase Adelaide's artisans
The excitement is slowly building up, everyone is getting Fringe ready, looking at the festival's program, event dates and performers names, and soon enough, Adelaide's East End will be decorated with quirky motifs, amusing colours and endless tents ready to host this popular festival.
Here is how it works. Your all time favourite regular Flinders Street Market stalls, producers and foodies are together at the Blue Warehouse on Flinders Street, just like the regular weekend markets, however, the Fringe Festival Markets will be held from 11am to 7pm. That means you can sleep in and gather more energies to meet the makers and purchase their goods. Don't worry about lunch, there will be plenty of great food and heavenly caffeine options for you to have a leisurely brunch. Then look around, talk to the artists and makers and head to a Fringe Show.
This is a great opportunity to see Adelaide's local made crafts and arts all in one spot. These guys might not do acrobatics or be great comedians, but they can turn clay, design jewellery and make some pretty amazing objects and that is pretty impressive too!
The Fringe Markets will be held at the Flinders Street Market on 230 Flinders Street, Adelaide 5000. This unique event will be running every weekend (Saturday and Sunday) from the 13th of February until the 12th of March, 11am to 7pm.
