There is plenty to do this year in Adelaide with festivals to keep the whole family and yourself entertained!

Check out the list below for all festivals happening around Adelaide:

1. Fringe Parade**
When: 12 February 2015: 9am
Where: King William Street, Adelaide
Cost: Free & ticketed events – see website
Details: The iconic Fringe Parade is back and will be filled with an array of light, colour, dance, music and theatrics. There will be an extraordinary parade to kick off the festival with a bang. Carbaret, children's events, circus, theatre, comedy, film, visual art & design are some of the events at the festival along with many free events. See website for more information.

2. Soundwave Festival
When: 21-22 February 2015: from 7pm
Where: Bonython Park, Port Rd, Adelaide
Cost: 1 Day tickets: $132 pp & 2 day tickets: $188pp
Details: For the first time in history, the Soundwave Festival will be held over 2 action-packed days. There are many artists and bands to see. See website for full line-up list and more information on the event.

3. Jack and the Beanstalk Adelaide Festival**
When: 28 February 2015: See website for times.
Where: Odeon Theatre, 57 Queen St, Norwood, Adelaide
Cost: General Admission: $25pp & General admission family (2 adults & 2 children or 1 adult 3 children): $80
Details: Darkness rules as this acclaimed Italian director and her Australian creative team explore the shadier side of the famous story of Jack, the mysterious stranger with magical beans, the ogre that lived high in the sky and the goose that laid the golden egg. 4. Adelaide Fringe Festival – Left
When: 3- 15 March 2015: 8:15pm-9:15pm
Where: The Lotus Palace, Rymill Park, cnr East Terrace & Rundle Rd, Adelaide
Cost: Adult: $35pp & concession: $25pp
Details: Left is a breathtaking, risk-taking, heartbreaking piece of circus. This show is about the importance of community, what it takes to build them and what happens when someone suddenly leaves or is lost. This is an absolute must see show, not to be missed. See website for more information.

5. Fringe Street Theatre Festival
When: 6-9 March 2015: from 9am
Where: Rundle Mall at the East End Rundle Mall, Adelaide
Cost: See website.
Details: This is a performance that is filled with super skilled, super funny and super silly street theatre performers from across Australia and around the world. There will be plenty of entertainment, do jot this event in your diary. See website for more information.

6. Oakbank Easter Racing Carnival**
When: 4-6 April 2015: from 7am
Where: Oakbank Racecourse, Oakbank Rd, Adelaide
Cost: See website
Details: This festival is like no other in the world. With two days of racing and set in the very picturesque Adelaide Hills. The facilities include gourmet food and wine precinct, kidszone, numerous food vendors and bars, amusements. You can bring your own food and drinks onto the course at no cost and enjoy a picnic. 7. Cabaret Festival
When: 5-20 June 2015: 7pm
Where: Adelaide Festival Centre, King William Rd, Adelaide

9. Adelaide International Guitar Festival
When: 17-20 July 2014
Where: Adelaide Festival Centre, King William St, Adelaide
Cost: See website.
Details: This is Australia's largest guitar festival and combines truly pioneering musicians with some of the most influential players of their generation. Click here for website.

10. OzAsia Festival
When: 23 September 2015 – 4 October 2015:
Where: Adelaide Festival Centre, King William St, Adelaide
Cost: See Website.
Details: The festivals include arts from across Asia, traditions and histories. Some of the features include contemporary dance, theatre, music, film, visual arts, community and food events, discussions, and the spectacular Moon Lantern Festival which is the largest parade in Australia.
