Celebrating their 30th year in 2015 with 5 great programs
Fresh from their cameo performance at the Rolling Stones Concert in October, the Adelaide Chamber Singers are back in style in 2015 as they look to build from the Stones and to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Adelaide Chamber Singers. 2015 is also Arvo Part's 80th birthday, so in the sharing of this milestone, each of the Singers' programs will feature a significant choral work by Arvo Part.

Season 2015

Late Night in the Cathedral : Passio (8 March - 10 March)

Starting the year, and in association with the Adelaide Festival, the Singers will present a Late Night in the Cathedral : Passio on Sunday 8th and Tuesday 10th at St Peter's Cathedral. Arvo Part's unique setting of Christ's Passion according to St John, is seen as one of the most remarkable and transcendent artistic creations of the late 20th century. Starting at 10pm each night, it is a work that should not be missed.

Northern Lights (27 June to 28 June)

Christie Anderson arrives as the guest conductor to direct this soulful journey through earth's far northern regions with music by, or inspired by, Northern European composers. From QArvo Part's Berlin Mass to Philip Hall's new setting of a much loved text, this is a program as beautiful as the northern light that inspired it.

With an evening performance on Saturday 27 June, followed by a matinee at The Village Well in Aldgate, this is sure to lift the mid-winter blues.

Tales of Three Cities (19 September to 20 September)

A 30th anniversary only occurs once, so why not celebrate it with friends. The Adelaide Chamber Singers have invited their musical colleagues from Sydney and Brisbane to join them in the preparation and delivery of fine choral music. Each choir will tell its own tales with an eclectic and intimate selection of music significant to that choir, before joining forces in a choral tour de force that will celebrate Australia's vibrant choral culture.

Saturday's blockbuster program will be held at St Peters Cathedral from 630pm, while The Village Well at Aldgate will host the matinee performance on Sunday 20th September.
