Not only will you find top quality local fruit and veg produce there's also an array of fresh meat/poultry, seafood, cheese, bread, coffee and teas, honey, nuts and dried fruits, flowers and Asian groceries as well as China Town located right next to the Central Markets.

The Adelaide Central Market has been with us for 140 years; If you're new to Adelaide you can take the Adelaide Central Market Tour for $60, guiding you through the markets and stalls where you can taste test and experience an award winning culinary tourism experience or opt for the Market Experience for Two for $90, providing a 2 hour tour of the markets to uncover the assortments of fresh produce, exotic delights, gourmet foods and the multiculturalism.

Located near the heart of the city, you can easily walk, catch a free tram or take a bus to the markets. With different events held throughout the year check their website regularly for free face painting for the kids, special luncheons, kids interactive, crafty and educational workshops, cooking demonstrations and more.
