Eat some great food while you watch buskers perform
Busking - many a large star has been discovered while busking! Busking takes place in just about every city in the world and I know I have heard and seen some fabulous acts right around the world. Some of these acts, I just had to stop and watch and listen - several of them attract really large crowds of people, particularly the circus-style acts.
It is a great way to be spotted and possibly further your career and now there is going to be an actual festival of buskers!
About the Bar The Busking Bar will be serving up a variety of drinks to alleviate your festival thirst. There will be buskers performing within the bar area, with live music commencing from 5.00 pm until 9.00 pm on Friday 26th and 1.00 pm to late on Saturday and Sunday 27th and 28th April.
The public bar will also be open stocking a range of beer, wine, spirits and cider. No BYO drinks are allowed onto the site.
What to Bring There will be more than 300 chairs and tables on site however organisers ask that you bring your own picnic blankets, fold up chairs or bean bags.
ATM Machine There will be an ATM on site for you to take out some quick cash. Some of the food trucks may have EFTPOS facilities, so bring your cards as well.
There will be bag checks at this event and items not allowed into the festival are alcohol, glass or pets.
There is plenty of parking around the festival area.
This promises to be a huge weekend of fun, music, food and family fun. Mark this in your diary or phone, so you do not miss out! You never know - you may watch several acts that will prove to be big hits and have a career in their chosen busking field!
