The Adelaide Beer and BBQ Fest is back again in 2018 with the biggest ever showcase of South Australian, Australian and international beer and cider in the state. You will find 50 craft beer exhibitors under the roof of the old brick Dairy Hall at the Adelaide Showgrounds, together with some of South Australia's best chefs cooking up a BBQ storm to make your mouth water.
This year brings the biggest lineup yet, with the largest and most diverse selection of brewers, cider makers, and chefs, together with some awesome South Australian bands. With your choice of the best craft beer, food and live entertainment in Adelaide, the Beer and BBQ Fest is being held over 3 days from Friday July 6 to Sunday July 8.

A range of different tickets are available for the festival, letting you pick what you would like to experience. The Friday evening session "Bright Lights, Beer City" includes live entertainment from The Preatures, Jen Cloher, Gooch Palms & Mojo Juju with host Matty Matheson. It's followed by the Royal Adelaide Beer and Cider Awards presentation.
A Saturday daytime ticket ("Beer Geek: A Hop Odyssey") gets you into discussions with brewers and industry leaders about the future of beer. Learn about different styles of beverage, and how you would start a craft beer label. Attend masterclasses and Q&A sessions with chefs. This is the session for the most serious beer and BBQ fans. Afterwards, the Up In Smoke BBQ Competition area will be open from late in the session.

The feverish Saturday night session is "Top Of The Hops", with entertainment including Holy Holy, Bob Evans, Maddy Jane and Gooch Palms on the main stage with host Matty Matheson. You're also free to browse the Up in Smoke BBQ competition, this year featuring over 40 teams from around the country vying to be the year's best BBQer.
Sunday at the Adelaide Beer and BBQ Fest is "Hair of The Dog", a family day where you can even bring your fur baby if it's as well socialised as you are. Entertainment includes the second annual ABBF Wet T-Shirt Championship, a hot dog eating contest, Barber Battles and more. Pick the brains of brewers and industry leaders about the future of beer, and ask anything you can remember to ask after enjoying barrels of bevvies.
