One person can change the world, but many hands make light work. Join the movement of ocean warriors and give a helping hand by joining Sea Shepherd's Marine Debris Campaign at this Adelaide Beach Clean. Meet at the Seahaven Scout Hall, 161 Oliver Rogers Rd, Outer Harbor (adjacent to Royal Squadron Yacht Club) on Sunday 28 July 2019 from 10am. Bring family, friends, colleagues and do share this within your networks to maximise impact.

If you haven't already attended one of these monthly beach clean-ups, then now is the perfect time for it. Join like-minded environmentally conscious others and do good, feel good, and have a fun community time while you're at it. Don't forget to wear enclosed shoes, a hat, sunscreen and bring water in a reusable bottle (no single-use plastic bottles please) and if you have reusable gloves, bring them too. This event is Single-Use Plastic FREE.

Sea Shepherd are renown for being on the forefront of environmental issues. Sea Shepherd Australia is a non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organisation and their mission is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife, in the world's oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species. By safeguarding the biodiversity of our delicately-balanced ocean ecosystems, their work continues to ensure their survival for future generations.

It's long overdue that we as a community take care of our beaches and oceans and go beyond our immediate needs for the good of our environment and the planet we live on. For other beach clean ups, check the event pages listed below to find other Beach Clean Up Events all over Australia.

Head to the event page for updates, and use the discussion section for interaction. There's a lot of good material posted there for a good, educational read as well.
