Recently while on a road trip, travelling from Brisbane to Sydney, I stopped into Addy's on Marsh in Armidale. Addy's on Marsh is a gourmet pizza and pasta restaurant located in Marsh Street in the city centre.
Having no idea what to expect my partner and I thought we would pop in and try the food there. After taking a look at the menu, I decided on an Addy's Hot Special pizza and hot it was. The gourmet topping on the pizza included; hot pepperoni, ground beef, onion, chilli, jalapeņo chilli, mozzarella on tomato base. Let me say If you like a bit spice in your meal, then this is the pizza for you.
The pizza base was thin and crunchy, plenty of topping sauce was used which is something I'm also pedantic about when purchasing a pizza but that's my just my personal preference. The pizza overall looked fresh and after trying it, found that it tasted fantastic as well. However, next time I'll order a smaller one as couldn't finish it, proving that my eyes were too big for my belly.
So whether you are popping into Armidale for a short visit and are after a bite to eat, or if you're a local who walks past the restaurant quite often but hasn't had the chance to dine there yet, then I'd only be to glad to recommend Addy's. Not only does the food taste great, the prices are quite reasonable and the staff are friendly and provide good service.
