Adelaide Theatre Academy & Theatre Bugs proudly present Acting For The Stage, a brand new interactive course dedicated to developing dramatic acting skills.
Led by experienced, highly regarded professional actors with extensive training and teaching skills, this 10-week course is designed for girls and boys aged 12 to 18 years.
Students will directly benefit from the skills and knowledge their teachers have gained working and training as professional dramatic actors.
The forthcoming course will be facilitated by Brant Eustice, an award-winning actor and director with over 35 years experience in theatre. Brant has worked for the ABC as a voice actor in dramas, documentaries and reading poems, including the New York Festival's Radio Awards Silver Medal winner Encounter: Still Glides the Stream.
He has worked as an actor and as a writer with companies including the Sydney Theatre Company, State Theatre Company of South Australia, Slingsby and Junction Theatre and is a founding board member of Red Phoenix Theatre.
Acting For The Stage is a response to requests from current and potential students for classes which focus specifically on dramatic acting skills and at the end of Term 3, students will have the opportunity to stage a series of scenes, poems and monologues for a live audience.
This exciting new course will be held in Norwood on Thursdays from July 26th to September 27th 2018, from 4.30pm to 6.00pm.
The fee is $240 per term (includes an Adelaide Theatre Academy polo shirt). Enrolments are now open. Call (08) 8332 1228 to make a booking.
