ACMI Children Green Screen Workshop

Kids ages 8 to 11 years can head over to ACMI in January and enjoy a workshop with the green screen. Participants will be tasked to create a story about fantastic beings and animal spirits based on the Chinese 16th century novel 'Journey to the West'. It is considered to be 1 of the 4 great classical novels of Chinese literature and has had many screen, stage and print adaptations.

Teams will take a magical journey in search of lost scrolls with each participant acting his or her part in ACMI's professional TV studio. Participants will also learn how to use the green screen technology to fly on a magic cloud like the Monkey God. The completed film will be saved on a take-home USB and screened for each child and 2 family members to enjoy. Member discounts are available.
