The food scene in the delightful city of Melbourne can take you on a roller coaster ride. Last weekend, I wanted to try my hands on some Turkish cuisine.

Suggested by a few friends, I went to this restaurant in Docklands called 'Achelya' for dinner. In the biting cold of the Friday night, it was such a warm feeling to experience what came to me as a complete surprise.

The Turkish restaurant- Achelya

This restaurant served live music with some belly dancing along with its Turkish cuisine. I was ecstatic to shake my belly with the belly dancers who were spreading their magic around our tables.

And let me also mention, the starters, the hookah, the Turkish drinks, the food... everything was just mind boggling!

Belly dancing

Hookah is definitely a must try and you can give Yeni Raki a try as well, an interesting Turkish drink. Your social media post after making a visit to this place is definitely going by the hastag #Yummyinmytummy!
