The Australian Cat Federation are holding the 40th National Cat Show and will be sponsored by companies such as Oz-Pet and Advance.


Feline lovers from all around this great land will converge on Melbourne in June, bringing with them some of the nation's finest, cutest and most extraordinary array of cats to this one location.


As this event will be a milestone in this era, representatives from all over the country will travel far and wide to participate and judge on the day. The day will be filled with professional yet enjoyable judging, ensuring the highest quality is presented and maintained.





Guest speaker for the judge's guild seminar will be Leslie A. Lyons, MS, PhD. She is a professor from the Department of Health and Reproduction, at the school of Veterinary Medicine in the University of California. Her insights and knowledge will provide us with important leading edge health knowledge for cats and other domesticated animals.

Location:**
The show will be held in the Expo Hall at the Melbourne Show grounds off of Epsom Road, which is located in close proximity to the Melbourne city.
Parking:
Parking is available for Exhibitors at a cost of $5.00 per car and to the general public for $10.00.

Opening Times:
The show will be open to the public from 9am and will conclude at 3:30pm. The Supreme Panel will conclude at approximately 3pm.

Cost:
Entry costs for adults are $6.00 while children and pensioners will be $3.00 or you can buy a family ticket for $15.00.


Fundraising Raffle:
A fundraising raffle will also be conducted on the day and organized by the ACF , which will be held at the conclusion of the event. All tickets are $5.00 and you could win a 98cm high Tall Small Hollow scratching post for your pampered pet. Included in the prize is free freight to anywhere in Australia. The winner also has the opportunity to select their ideal colours.

Stalls:
Additionally, a large variety of product stalls will be available, where you can purchase all the items that your cat deserves.

Travel and Accommodation:
If you are travelling from interstate, there are many different types of pet friendly and non-pet friendly places available in and around the local area. There are also a great selection of animal boarding facilities and veterinary clinics available, which will no doubt look after you beloved feline if needed.

All of those within the animal world are extremely excited about this event and hope that cat owners and feline lovers from all over, come to enjoy in the day. With all of the judging, shows, fundraising, seminar and products available to buy, this will no doubt be seen as a major event.
