The launch of Acai Brothers City Beach was a wonderful one – with free yoga, great team work, long lines and lots of delicious, fresh ingredients!
The introduction of Acai Bros was certainly welcomed by locals this weekend, and it all started on the mat. We joined Joan from GWBE Yoga on the mats in the park, she took us through a refreshing vinyasa 60min session. A real pleasure, perfect for both beginners or well-practised yogis. Joan had a great aura, she made you feel comfortable, yet really encouraged you to challenge yourself.
Joan does pop-up sessions as well as working from a studio in Maylands. Joan, owner and founder of GWBE Yoga has a brilliant attitude and a great manner on the mat – her business is still pretty new, so if you're looking for an excellent instructor, then I wouldn't hesitate to get in contact.
It was a beautiful location, with perfect weather – what a way to start your weekend!
After the yoga session, we were kindly directed to the food bar to choose three fruit toppings for our acai bowl – with banana, kiwi, strawberries, apple and orange to choose from. The bowls were all beautifully served, with lots of time put into perfectly placing each piece of fruit to form a little masterpiece, almost too good to eat.

The queue rapidly formed and the team were quick to keep up with orders rolling in. The menu includes a large selection of acai bowls, smoothies, juices and hot drinks.
According to the expertise of Acai bros, there are many benefits of eating acai, including improving heart health, high levels of antioxidants, it promotes skin health, boosts your immune system and improves mental function!
