Good fun, good food, and a great cause
At 7:00pm on Thursday the 28th of September an evening of revelry and merriment will commence. The wine will be poured, the smell of delicious food will waft and the laughs will echo through St Kilda as Abundance 2017 kicks off at Memo Music Hall. The stars will take the stage and fill it with stories and song before guests take to the floor and dance the night away.
Hosted by Brian Nankervis (Hey Hey It's Saturday, RockWiz) and opening with a set from Lawrence Mooney (Agony Aunt, Stand-Up Comedian, Best Show – Melbourne Comedy Fest 2015), the evening is bound to leave you short of breath before you've finished your first glass of wine.
Abundance 2017 will also feature performances from Queenie Van De Zandt and Casey Benetto (Keating! The Musical) plus television film and stand-up comedian Damian Callinan and comedian/impersonator Jack Johnson. This evening of festivities will be rounded off by a soul funk DJ turning the evening into a party that will stay with you for years to come.
The night will also include a silent auction, with all proceeds supporting Theatre Works and their pursuit to actively encourage and champion artists to be creative with no boundaries, shaping the future of Australian theatre.
Join them for a laugh, a drink, a dance and an evening to remember. All proceeds to Theatre Works to help continue to shape the future of Australian independent theatre.
Abundance 2017 is a night you can't afford to miss. Be a part of an evening to remember, to share a laugh and a drink with the stars, your peers and your friends. More importantly, play an integral part in supporting Australian independent theatre.
