Camberwell cafe Ab.Stract on George offers not just a fab food menu but a platform for young and emerging artists to showcase their artwork in an alternative space when traditional gallery exhibition space may not be an option. The newest exhibition, 'My Street Pics' by Chris Kriekenbeek, is the latest free photography exhibition taking place at Ab.Stract.

Ab.Stract cafe supports emerging artists as they search of galleries that are right for their art by providing a platform and an alternative space for them to exhibit their art work free of charge. They provide the space, schedule the exhibition and let the artist promote the liaise with buyers directly.

Located on George Street, just off Toorak Road (where Toorak Road meets Camberwell Road) Ab Stract offers an inspiring atmosphere and plenty of speciality coffee, breakfast and burgers. It's located just off the beaten path making it a quiet cafe that's ideal for meetings, a bit of creative work (free WiFi) and plenty of artistic inspiration. In the past, the cafe has hosted children's art classes during school holidays and is the ideal little hotspot to get your creative juices flowing, especially after a few coffees.
