When in Melbourne discovering the diversity of laneway life is a must. One of the many vibrant, happening is Hardware Lane which is teeming with a variety of cafes and eateries but that's not all.
Amidst the hussle and bustle you can take a little time out to spruce up and revitalise yourself. I was given a gift voucher for a manicure, pedicure and one hour massage; what a treat.
Val Walsh is a well know nail technician who has teamed up with Elaine Michie who been in the beauty industry for the past 12 years. I had the pleasure of receiving the most relaxing Sweedish massage I've ever had. It seemed I just floated down the stairs and back into the Laneway.
It was great to have the flexibility to split up the treatments over two sessions, these ladies are very accomodating. I returned the following day to have my fingers and toes buffed, creamed and painted. A welcome change from the mass walk in and wait nail places on the street.
