Finding interesting things to do with children takes more than a little hocus-pocus, so if your charges need a break from the playground, consider stopping by Abracadabra for a free magic show.

Given by a professional magician each Sunday at 3PM, the hour-long show is followed by an informal Q&A where kids of all ages will be delighted to learn some of the secrets behind the illusions. Inspiring magicians will also be shown a variety of easy-to-perform tricks sure to inspire and delight them. Take home kits and individual tricks are on sale for those wanting to take their interests to the next level.

The store itself almost takes on a museum-like resonance as it contains more than 10,000 items from costumes to props. Stop by and check out any number of interesting wares including oddball wigs, gags, and assorted novelties. Whether you're into theme attire, sight gags, special effects, or anything in between, Abracadabra has you covered. (Note: While the magic show is appropriate for children of ages, some of the items on display may be a little too frightful for toddlers.)
