Opening in April 30, 2016 on Bay St in Port Melbourne, natural supermarket About Life will be the first store to open in Melbourne following its success in Sydney. As Australia's largest and fastest growing holistic lifestyle hub, About Life, is a one-stop shop for natural groceries, as well as a wholefoods cafe with its own in house wellness expert.

While the huge rise in demand for natural and organic products, About Life started as a juice bar in Sydney owned by sisters Jodie Stewart and Tammie Phillips who from there have since opened six stores in Sydney. The Port Melbourne location is their first in Melbourne. The store will include plenty of ethical grocery items focussing on everything from staples to superfoods and the market will offer Australia's most extensive range of natural and organic groceries including fresh produce, meat, dairy, deli, bakery, pantry staples and green household goods. The grocery will also include items for children and babies such as eco-friendly nappies.

They'll also be a health and beauty range with everything from eco-friendly versions of everyday items like toothpaste, soap, moisturisers, shampoo and sunscreen to About Life's own Cacao and Coconut Body Butter and Detoxifying Clay Face and Body Mask.
The About Life Café will offer inventive dishes made from clean, nutrient dense ingredients. Providing customers with premium roasted, organic and fair-trade coffee, therapeutic herbal teas, ginger turmeric and matcha lattes, a variety of raw smoothies and juices, and a large array of hearty superfood meals and salads to satisfy and nourish the body.
The menu changes seasonally with a selection of wholefood salads and nourishing hot foods.
The Port Melbourne grand opening weekend will be held from Saturday 30 April – Sunday 1 May with live supplier demonstrations, samplings and tastings, a garden patch where the kids can plant their own seeds and take them home to watch them grow, a Bike 'n' Blend juice station and more.
