Previously held during the January school holidays , the Aboriginal Plant Use holiday program is making a return on 7 July 2020, 8 July 2020 and 15 July 2020 at Adelaide Botanic Garden. This is one of various school holiday programs to be held at Adelaide Botanic Gardens over the July school holidays.

Conducted by indigenous storyteller, educator and guide Trent, kids will be shown plants that were traditionally used by Aboriginal people. They will also learn how the seasons and their surroundings influence their daily lives, notably what it means during the cooler months.

If your child is interested in taking part, click here for the link to book a place for the event. Participants must be at the venue 10 minutes before the event starts to check-in and all kids must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
