The class I attended covered a range of exercises from simple warm-ups, drawing shapes and objects in 3D. We were led step by step on how to break up a face so you can draw one in the correct proportions. These lessons were tied together at the end with drawing a mystery image upside down. This technique helps you to bypass your inner critic and gain confidence.
Jenni Onn is currently a TAFE teacher with a strong background in the creative industries, so you're in capable hands. She's even illustrated for magazines and a series of children's books.
