The Abbey Museum of Art and Archaeology and the Abbey Church will be open as part of the Open Day, along with a wide variety of speciality market stalls which will be situated within the grounds. In true Abbey Museum style, this year a historical theme of a Victorian era will build the atmosphere for the day. The Boutique Markets are sure to have plenty of great gifts for Christmas presents or stocking fillers. Applications for stallholders can be submitted here.

There will be Victorian craft activities such as paper chains and Christmas crackers, Victorian games, Skittles and Coconut Shy, as well as a Penny Farthing or two-wheeling around the grounds. Other games include Potato Races and Egg and Spoon Races.
Children and adults will have a chance to dance under the big May Pole, getting in some exercise after sampling the yummy foods and treats from the stalls. Kids will delight in getting their photograph taken with Santa.
