I've become a convert to the idea of organised small group travel since the world was knocked off its axis in the past few years.

NEW Tours in South Australia

The four-night Outback Explorer - from Uluru to Adelaide, allows visitors to soak up the spirituality of Uluru, see the dramatic white salt pan of Lake Hart fringed by Pindan, and mull over the secrets and intrigues of Woomera - a military-owned town and testing site.



On the 7-day South Australian Eyre Peninsula tour, they can be awed by the end-of-the Earth sea cliffs at the Great Australian Bight, dwarfed by the Yanerbie Sand dunes, and immersed in sensations when they taste bush tucker serenaded by didgeridoos, or eat freshly shucked oysters knee-deep in Coffin Bay.



The 5-day Adelaide to Kangaroo Island tour begins in Adelaide and then visits Kangaroo Island's rugged coast­line. They cheekily call this tour Remarkable Adelaide to Kangaroo Island (KI). But the real Remarkables are a geological phenomenon on KI. As well as stunning natural attractions and famous wildlife, this is a foodies tour with Ligurian honey - beer brewed using rainwater and delightful tipples from Islander Estate Vineyard.
