Writing for pleasure to showcase the best Australia has on offer.
EPIC Assist is an organisation which provides a personalised service to help people with a disability to achieve their employment goals and since 2004, they have also delivered NDIS funded work preparations. From humble beginnings in Brisbane in 1999 and now almost thirty years later, EPIC now have 400 employees and operate from fifty service centres across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania.
Just because a person has a disability, doesn't mean they cannot find a job they love. EPIC continues gives support to individuals through the employment journey until they are no longer required.

Commencing on Tuesday 11th December through to Friday 21st December 2018, EPIC is hosting a free art exhibition titled A World of Difference at the Graydon Gallery, 29 Merthyr Road, New Farm; only a short walking distance from the New Farm Village. The Gallery has been established for over thirty years and has exhibited works by painters, sculptors, jewellers, photographers, furniture designers and ceramics. The Gallery is also available for short term hire.
This exhibition features artwork from professional and emerging artists with a disability. People with a disability face challenges every day and through their art, they challenge us to consider the word "different" and learn from the insights of their life experiences.
