As part of South Australia's
History Festival, Tea Tree Gully Heritage Museum is presenting
A Wedding Yarn from Wednesday the 11th to Friday the 15th of May 2022. From the front door and throughout the twelve rooms, you will stand in awe of stunning knitted displays recreating a special wedding day. Take delight in the preparations for the big day through the medium of yarn. Marvel at the cake, floral arrangements and breakfast delicacies. There will also be interpretive panels detailing the history of knitting as well as photographs capturing marriages in the early days.

Entry is $5 per adult and $4 for concession. Children under the age of 16 can enter for free. Bookings are not required, so just come along with either cash or credit/debit card on the day. The museum is located at 3 Perseverance Road in Tea Tree Gully. Do check out their
