Support Queenslanders With Parkinson Disease by Charity Walk

Hosted by Wonder Sheet, come and join friends and family for A Walk in the Park on Sunday 14th April 2019 at the Murarrie Recreation Ground. This walk is being held to support those 17,000 Queenslanders' who live with Parkinson's every day of their life.

The event is commencing at 8.30am and you can choose whether you wish to take a 2km or 5km walk. There is nothing like getting out in the country air among nature for an enjoyable walk with family. There will be some warm-up exercises, free activities and music. Light refreshments will be for sale from the food trucks on site.

Every participant will receive a T-shirt. Prices for this walk are as follows.

Adult Standard - $45.00
Child Standard (5 to 15 years) $25.00
Concession / PQI Member Standard - $35.00
Adult on the Day - $50.00
Child on the Day (5 to 15 years) - $30.00
Concession / PQI Member on the Day - $ 40.00

Funds raised from the walk can support up to five Queensland based nurses' registrations for a Parkinson's Care Postgraduate Unit of Study. Walkers can set up their own fundraising pages via Everyday Hero.

This is a worthy cause and will be a fun day for the whole family. The Murarrie Recreation Ground is located at 1238 Wynnum Road, Murarrie. The walk should end around 10.30am.
