Raise money & walk in Commonwealth Park
A Walk in the Park Fundraiser for Parkinson's ACT will be held on 27th August, starting at 11am (registrations will open at 9:30am). Starting at Rond Terrace, the walk will be a 1.6 kilometre stroll through Commonwealth Park, with course marshals positioned along the way to point you in the right direction.

At the start and end of the walk, there will be activities such as lucky draw prizes, a sausage sizzle, coffee stand, face-painting, warm up and an opportunity to buy paintings from the Painting With Parkinson's group. There will also have chairs for people with mobility issues.

Cost: $20 for each person or $50 for a family of two adults and two children. See the website (below) for details of how to register and fundraise for this worthy cause. 100% of proceeds go to Parkinson's ACT.
