Those quirky ladies with the black straight and proper hair dos have come all the way from Esk, Queensland to host a wholesome Christmas gathering here in Adelaide. The decorations are up, the table is set and the musical saw is ready. The Kransky Sisters have returned to Adelaide and have brought with them their peculiar instruments and strange stories. This holiday season they wish to share the spirit of Christmas with everyone with some traditional Christmas melodies and covers of well-known hits.

The Kransky Sisters are Mourne, Eve and half-sister Dawn. Mourne is the self-appointed Matriarch of the family. She uses her stern manner to lead the girls and keep control of the whole affair. Eve follows Mournes' lead, however, she is a bit more independent and free-thinking than Mourne would like. As Mourne describes their life and adventures, Eve will repeat much of what Mourne says. This creates either an eerie echo or highlight's the punch lines as the sisters deliver it in unison. Dawn is the girl's half-sister. Being the result of an affair between the Kransky's mother and father's brother, Dawn, is the black sheep of the family. She is quiet and shy but expresses herself with the deep bass filled tones she produces from her tuba.

Together the ladies are a fantastic musical trio with haunting and obtuse sounds, a gothic and surreal vibe and a collection of great tunes. With instruments like an electronic squeezebox, Dawn's tuba and Eve's strange musical saw the group paint a vivid picture of an obtuse and bizarre experience that is the Kransky's everyday life.

The audience is considered one the family as the ladies share odd stories of growing up, pursuing love and Airbnbs. Each of their tales encompasses the adventures of women of an older era as they experience the modern world with their own Kransky twist to it.

The girls dabble in folk music, acapella, mash-ups and melodies. Always in their ghostly, uncanny style. Such hits like 'Poker Face', 'The Sound of Silence', and 'Thriller'. The Kransky Sisters have always been known for their macabre interpretations of modern hits but this Christmas they have muddled a number of holiday classics to fill everyone with Christmas spirit and sensibility. The new mood of the holidays brings a whole lot of fun to the Kransky's repertoire with songs that can get the crowd singing a bopping along. Sing along to the Kransky's versions of 'Joy to the World', 'Silent Night', and many more. The Kransky's encourage the people of Adelaide in join and act as a 4th sound to their group.

For those who have seen the sisters before, this is a new twist to what was already a great act. The Sisters still exude that spooky and macabre charm that they are known for. With Christmas thrown into the mix, it's an excuse for exceptional tunes that everyone can get behind and stories to reflect the holidays. For those of you who are new to the tremendous trio, this is a guaranteed mirthful experience. The Kransky Sisters have all the pieces to cap off your night with some jingle jangle fun.v
