The Koorie Heritage Trust and Federation Square are teaming to bring you a family friendly free Koorie Krismas event on Sunday 11 December 2016 from 1pm to 4pm at Federation Square (outside Koorie Heritage Trust building). Come along and join in the fun, with free activities, live music, workshops and a special appearance by Koorie Klause at 3pm!

Catch the performances of Culture Evolves, Tongberang'i Ngargga Inc. and more. Cassie Leatham-Harrap and Marilyne Nicholls will be running workshops so you can make Koorie Krismas decorations if you're feeling a little creative. There's lots to delight the kids at this celebration of Koorie heritage.


Do a little Christmas shopping while you're there and pick up the perfect gift for a loved one from the retail store. Shop Koorie and check out the Koorie Art Show (Koorie Heritage Trust Gallery, Fed Square) while you're at it.

In its fourth year, this annual art show displays the diverse talent of Victoria's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island artists in an inclusive space. You'll find works from emerging to senior Victorian-based indigenous artists. All works are for sale to the public.

This exhibition runs right through till 26 February 2017, daily from 10am. It's a Victorian Government initiative through Creative Victoria in partnership with the Koorie Heritage Trust.
