I love the fact that the State Library of Queensland puts on many events which celebrate this city's multicultural identity. This rich and varied identity brings us precious cultural and culinary treasures and the State Library are keen to share these with Brisbane residents. On this occasion the State Library is coming into association with a chef, Dominique Rizzo, much loved chef and author, to offer a delicious three course, sit-down dinner in the beautiful setting of the Queensland Terrace at the State Library of Queensland.
Individuals from the Romero Centre migrant communities have shared their recipes with Wandering Cooks and Alphabet Cafe to serve you this delicious menu celebrating Australia's rich diversity.
Taste an eclectic mix of cuisines including Sri Lankan, Iranian, Chinese and Venezuelan. Hear first-hand how these recipes reflect the cultures, beliefs, and experiences of the individuals that inspired each dish.
The food will be ethically sourced from suppliers including Food Connect, Meat at Billy's, Dutton Park Fish Market, Echo Valley Farm and Not Waste.
Book now to share in this meaningful culinary experience.
