Brought to you by "Lost in Translation" theatre company; A Steady Rain is originally a Broadway show written by Keith Huff, the intriguing story immediately captivated Nick Fagan, "Lost in Translation's" founder and producer, who decided to bring it home to Adelaide as part of the 2016 Fringe Festival.
A Steady Rain tells the story of two Chicago cops Denny and Joey, friends since kinder garden, both hoping for a promotion and helping each other through life.

Denny is a family man with strong views and even stronger language, Joey on the other hand is a good doer single man who is constantly being set up with women, thanks to Denny.
The pair have opposite views in almost everything, but their friendship and camaraderie is unquestionable.
Throughout this two men narration and dialogue, the story uncovers horrid crimes under a rainy Chicago, tricky situations and life threatening scenarios that slowly change who they are, how they view themselves and how much they are willing to give up for each other.
A Steady Rain, is a two man show with little props and almost no special effects, however, the story and the execution of it by Nick Fagan (Denny) and Rohan Watts(Joey), is all so powerful, captivating and intriguing, you will be on edge the whole time!
A must go for those who enjoy connecting with a character, feeling the depth of a raw story and going through the ups and downs of life's emotions.
A Steady Rain will be showing until 5th of March at Turi Bar E Caffe located on Grenfell Street, Adelaide.
