I am a freelance writer living in Manly. I enjoy writing reviews for Weekend Notes.
I enjoy the outdoors and anything to do with the water. My interests are travel, Live Theatre,The Ballet and Restaurants that serve delicious innovative food.
I have a history in dance which has given me an appreciation of athletic gymnastics performed with grace, physical strength and flexibility. All the performers in A Simple Space possess these physical abilities and perform in a very stylised fashion which is a delight to watch.
This year ,The Sydney Festival has added another tent, called the Auora. Many new events will be performed there, as well as some repeats which were outstanding from last year's festival.

Eight young performers make up A Simple Space. Most have trained together at Cirkdiz circus school in South Australia. The show runs for an hour, it is full of aerial tricks and muscular acrobatics that leave the audience amazed.
The show is performed close up and personel in the Auroa Tent. It will have the audience raising their eyebrows as the seven acrobats do back flips and spins with grace and precision. They push their bodies to unbelievable limits.
So if you are going to The Sydney Festival consider, A Simple Space - you will not be disappointed.
There is a lot happening in the Festival Garden, take time to stop and soak up the atmosphere. Have a bite to eat and maybe a glass of wine.
Enjoy and watch others enjoy themselves. It's all part of the magic that makes Sydney Festival a great sucess.
