Have you ever seen the body used to create sound and dance?
An absolutely dynamic performance, A Night's Game is full of high impact energy as well as quiet intensity, exploring the loss and gain of freedom.

I was fortunate enough to attend the opening night of this performance and was mesmerised by the use of the body to make fast rhythmic movement and sound. Something I have never seen before!

I was breathless as I watched each of the identical twins take turns to hit different parts of their body in a slow to fast rhythmic beat, creating a lively beat. The aromatic incense and smoke floating through the air also added to the feeling that I had just travelled to a different world.

A Night's Game features body percussion, a highly unique style of dance I had never seen before!

The performance also featured modern, ballet, Afro-Carribean, Latin and Kathak styles of dance.

The powerful choreography orchestrated by twin sisters Kristina and Sade of UK's Alleyne Dance was brought to life by FORM Dance Projects at Riverside Theatre.

Kristina and Sade are strong, athletic yet highly graceful dancers who truly deliver a powerful performance filled with professional skill whilst bringing their own soul, courage and character.

A highly thoughtful, mesmerising and poignant reflection on freedom

The dark stage lighting combined with deep and poignant orchestral sounds created an emotional and moving atmosphere to beautifully compliment the story telling.
