I'm an experienced corporate communicator and editor with an eye for interesting events and an attachment to my trusty Oxford dictionary.
You may know him as Tom from House Husbands, or Dan Baker from Home and Away or as a former contestant from Dancing With the Stars, but to Dialysis Escape Line Australia (DELA), Tim Campbell is more than a talented singer, actor and performer. He's a generous ambassador and the star of their upcoming fund-raising dinner to be held at Melbourne's iconic The Hotel Windsor on Saturday 15 June.
The black tie dinner, billed as A Night With Tim Campbell and His Band, is not just an opportunity to hear one of Australia's top-notch corporate cover bands deliver a diverse playlist. There'll be fabulous food amidst the stylish old world elegance of Melbourne's most recognisable 5 star hotel, this year celebrating its 130th anniversary. And you'll be contributing to a good cause because all money raised will go to Dialysis Escape Line Australia, a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation that assists patients undergoing dialysis.
Tickets for the event cost $150 per person and are available by phoning 0448 588 880 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
DELA provides support to dialysis patients and their carers and families by setting up temporary dialysis units in places where this is not usually available. This enables patients to take advantage of travel opportunities - something you and I take for granted. They operate one dialysis cruise and one land-based holiday within Australia each year, and are supported by experienced medical professionals and state of the art equipment.
