An invite to a free champagne celebration
Free Champagne, Canapes and Classy Company.
Georges was established by Willie and Harley George in 1880. This was a time when Melbourne was wealthy from the gold rush, and Georges was designed to be the finest place to shop in the city. It was the centre of style and fashion in Melbourne for over a century.
Reader's Feast Bookstore is now in this building, and so many people ask about Georges, that they have decided to put on a free night on Wednesday the 8th of May for the public to remember and celebrate the stylish and historic era of Georges.
Here's your personal invite to this stylish and free event:
Champagne and finger food will be served from 6.30pm, a quartet will play, and people will have the opportunity to share stories and memorabilia. The event will run until 9pm. Enquiries: (03) 9662 4699
