Australia's 'Queen of Common Sense' Maggie Dent will host a special half-day event dedicated to the wonderful world of raising kids.

A Morning With Maggie: Exploring Toddlers to 10-year olds, will be held on Saturday, 11th February from 9am to 1pm at All Saints College in Bull Creek.

Maggie, an author, educator, parenting specialist and mother to four boys, has become one of Australia's most in-demand parenting writers and her common-sense approach to raising kids has made her a popular figure for parents.

A Morning With Maggie will explore developmental aspects of childhood and offer practical solutions to common problems, issues and dramas that happen in the home and classrooms. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the session.

This is a chance for parents and anyone who works or lives with children to learn techniques in how to stay calm and connected with your kids, see the world through their eyes and understand what children need – and how you can provide for them – early on in life. It's also an opportunity to learn strategies for dealing with difficult behaviour and the common dilemmas and struggles parents face.

A Morning With Maggie is a must for Perth parents who are experiencing a difficult phase of their child's life, would like to learn more about development or are simply interested in listening to one of Australia's parenting experts bring her ideas to the table.

Tickets are available from Maggie Dent's website .
