Melbourne, our wildest dreams are coming true this Christmas thanks to those mischievous thespians at the Australian Shakespeare Company. This bunch of talented bard enthusiasts unite once more, this time as a boisterous caboodle of sprites, fairies and fools, performing under the stars at the Royal Botanic Gardens.

A Midsummer Night's Dream, Shakespeare's popular whimsical comedy, couldn't be a more appropriate tonic for Melburnians after a long winter on a short leash! And what a magical introduction to Shakespeare for younger audience members, who can enjoy the family-friendly spectacle for a stocking filler price. Expect plenty of tongue on cheek tomfoolery with mythical beasts and charming nymphs!
