You've heard of the twelve days of Christmas, now the thirty days of Christmas are coming. The Entrance on the Central Coast is hosting a special celebration that will light up the Waterfront Plaza and bring smiles to faces.
From 8.30pm each night, an LED light show with animated Christmas tales will excite the senses and illuminate the night with plenty of amazing effects in both light and sound. The stories will be accompanied by schools and bands from the local arts community performing in a true rendition of Christmas on the Coast.
On Launch Night, 1 December, from 5.30pm you can get into the Christmas spirit with additional live entertainment from Him & Her, Sarah & Bryce Duo, and Little Quirks, as well as a Road Star Party hosted by radio station Star 104.5. With the area transformed into a Christmas wonderland, be sure to say hello to the stilt walking candy canes, giant bouncy elves, enchanting ballerina in a bubble and, of course, Santa. Moreover, don't miss the magic moment when they turn the lights on for the first time at 8.30pm.
On Christmas Eve, there will be carols in the adjacent Memorial Park, from 6pm-8pm. The stage line-up includes Gosford Musical Society with Madagascar (a children's show), Stevie Pounder Duo, and Tuggerah Lakes Show Band with Sally Loughnan & Joshua Keene. An MC will welcome Madam Mayor, prior to Santa's arrival at 7pm. So bring your picnic rug, family, friends and reindeer ears and sing along to all your favourite Christmas carols and well-known hits before taking in the light show on the Plaza at 8.30pm.
This luminous Christmas is a free event for young and old alike to enjoy, bringing the magic of the season and quality time together that provides lasting memories.
