Today, it seems the most sacred of all things is time—or lack there of. We are inundated with work, appointments, extra curricula activities and the general fast paced throng that is life. Where once Sundays were lazy family picnic days, and Saturdays movie nights, these activities are interspersed with children's sports games, shopping, other activities that capture you in a whirlwind of hype and activity, leaving you breathless and tired every weekend end.
For those of us who have children, this is just as valid and not only are our schedules interlapped and overloaded, it seems that our children are also just as driven with things needing to be done that seemingly has taken the innocence out of raising carefree whimsical children.
Taking the time for 'Isha kriya - inner transformation' is not only important to balance our bodies and minds, but also vital in allowing us to have the stamina to stay on top of everything that is required of us.
Isha kriya requires nothing more than a practised skill of controlled breathing to empower us with the basic skills that may have become buried in our everyday being.
In Melbourne on the 11 and 12 August, 2012, Sadhguru; a yogi and spiritual master and founder of the Isha Foundation, will be conducting seminars in this new age tradition that is Isha.
Following no set tradition, but embodying the yogi sciences, Sadhguru not only is a well known public figure, but his practices gather large groups of followers intent on changing their life habits.
If you haven't indulged in the this mind, body and soul filling way of life, perhaps now is the time to take stock of everything around you and take this time for you—come along to Isha Australia and open your mind for a life altering change.
