Well, like 50,000 other Brisbanites, our family headed off to the A-league soccer final on Sunday afternoon to watch the Brisbane Roar take on Perth Glory.
It ended up 2-1 in Brisbane's favour, but not before there were yellow cards, a red card, a split lip, and a controversial penalty-kick during injury time that allowed the Roar's Besart Berisha to score the decider.
Perth did everything they could to stop the penalty being awarded, including following referee Jarred Gillett around and trying to 'politely' persuade him to change his decision -- as you can see here -- but without success.
If you're a soccer fan, I've also posted a couple of other photos from the match.)
