Celebrating its 20th season, The Production Company is presenting the Australian premiere of A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder. It will be performed for a limited season of 26 shows at Arts Centre Melbourne .

A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder is about Monty Navarro, a penniless clerk who discovers he is ninth in line to be Lord D'Ysquith, the Earl of Highhurst. But the D'Ysquith
family dismiss his claim then curiously the eight family members in line to be Earl start dying from unnatural causes! Meanwhile, Monty woos money-minded Sibella but also finds himself drawn to young Phoebe D'Ysquith…what could possibly go wrong?


Mitchell Butel, quadruple Helpmann Award winner stars as all eight members of the D'Ysquith family. Making his debut for The Production Company is Chris Ryan as Monty. The legendary Nancye Hayes is Miss Shingle, Alinta Chidzey will star as Sibella Hallward and Phoebe D'Ysquith will be performed by Genevieve Kingsford.

Annie Aitken, Johanna Allen, Matt Heyward, Paul Hughes, Jennifer Peers, Matthew Predny will perform in the ensemble.

The Broadway winning show includes songs A Warning to the Audience, I Don't Understand the Poor, Poison in My Pocket, Better with a Man, Why Are All The D'Ysquiths Dying? and Looking Down The Barrel of a Gun!


An audio described performance for people who are blind or have low vision will be take place at 2.00pm on 3 November.

Visit Arts Centre Melbourne from 27 October to 18 November to see The Production Company's final show for 2018 of A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder.
