Imagine the ethereal beauty of a 36-part choir 'singing' the stars as they rise and set over the horizon. That is what you'll experience with , playing for one night only at the Ian Potter Museum of Art, Parkville, as part of the exhibition The Score. Utilising GPS via smart device technology, the singers receive real-time 'micro-tonal cues' to allow them to 'sing' the stars. Working with parameters including location on the horizon, distance from Earth and star luminosity, the app translates the data into variables such as pitch, volume and timbre to create this choral work.

The performance of commences at 7.00pm on Tuesday 10th October and runs for one hour.
