The end of all our exploring is to arrive where we started
Following on from their huge success with Hamlet in the 2014 Fringe World, GRADS present A Flat Circle, written by Alex Ripper, Patrick Barton and Mel Kay and directed by Patrick Barton for Fringe World 2016.
According to the writers: "Two years after his father's death, Charlie has finally come home. To celebrate, his mother Victoria has invited his brother ... and his sister ... to a dinner in his honour. But Charlie has other ideas. What ensures is the unravelling of a series of misconceptions about the family's history, who they once were and what they have become. At its centre is an act of domestic violence whose origins are still obscure and whose effects are yet to be unmasked."
A Flat Circle runs from February the 11th to the 17th (8:00pm, except for the 13th at 5:30pm) at the Hellenic Club, 75 Stirling Street, Perth. Tickets cost $18 and upwards and may be booked on the Fringe World website here.
