A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner!

A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner! Is a live action made for television Nickelodeon movie, which was based on the highly popular animated television series, The Fairly OddParents.

Unlike the previous animated films, based on the series, this film was presented to its audience as live-action, mixed with CGI animation and was the first ever Nicktoon to be depicted in live action form.

A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner! is set years after the original series. The main character Timmy Turner, has grown into a twenty-three-year-old man, but has certainly not "grown up".

Timmy has managed to maintain the lifestyle which only a kid could lead and even though all his friends now have jobs, Timmy is still going to primary school and driving his teacher Mr. Crocker crazy, therefore Timmy still has his ever loving fairy god parents granting his every wish, but when Timmy falls head over heals in love with a girl from his past and Timmy's fairy friends are stolen away by a magic stealing duo, it's up to Timmy to finally grow up and save the day!

A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner!

As a massive fan of the original animated series, I found this to be a truly bizarre to watch, seeing all the characters in either live or CGI form and seeing them all older was just plain weird. But as the film progressed and the plot thickened, A Fairly Odd Movie became highly engrossing, hilarious and intriguing.
