Nobody can seriously be more excited than me with the news
Bryan Adams will tour Australia next March. If you haven't seen him perform live yet, then it's about time you do.
In the industry I work in I'm lucky to have witnessed thousands of concerts, but only a few remain at the top of my list - and
Bryan Adams is right up there.
Bryan Adams
Many artists today turn their concerts into an theatrical masterpiece. With that I mean extravagant lighting, costume changes, dancers, set changes the list goes on. Although it's entertaining and I'm not disputing that, when an artist can grace the stage and stand their ground without these added extras, that to me is a masterpiece in itself.
Bryan Adams holds his own - he's entertaining, raw, charismatic and allows the music to speak for itself.

After performing to millions at the
2015 AFL Grand Final, it's no wonder he's an award winning singer songwriter (65 million album sales, 21 top ten hits and seven number one singles). Delivering two of his most popular numbers,
Summer of 69 and
Run to You, he had the 100,000 strong crowd singing and chanting along ahead of the first bounce.
Bryan Adams last toured Australia a few years ago and will return with an arena tour in
Melbourne and
Sydney along with
A Day On The Green concerts in
Mt Cotton Qld,
McLaren Vale SA,
Kings Park and
Botanic Garden WA, and
Hunter Valley in NSW.
Bryan Adams the photographer
Adams is also an acclaimed photographer. His portrait of
The Queen, taken on the occasion of her
Royal Jubilee, was used on a Canadian postage stamp and his critically acclaimed exhibit
'Modern Muses' was on display in 2008 at the
National Portrait Gallery in London.
