From fine art to street art
The female form has been celebrated in art for centuries. From July 1 to 7, the Graydon Gallery in New Farm will host A Celebration of the Female Form, an exhibition "exploring the power of the female body to captivate, disturb, fascinate, destroy, amuse, dismay, entertain and delight."
More than one hundred artworks, from fine art to street art, will feature in this exciting exhibit from over twenty local, interstate and international artists; including but not limited to paintings, drawings, prints and sculptures.
On Friday, July 5 join the Graydon Gallery for the Celebration Night. Commencing at 6pm, guests will be treated to nibbles, drinks and live entertainment; body painting by Anke Catesby, belly dancing by Kalikah Jade and burlesque performances by Frankie Vandellous, Becstacy and Alyssa Kitt.
Entry to the Celebration Night is by gold coin donation. For more information, visit the event page on Facebook.
