Geoffrey Robertson QC is the ever charismatically distinguished legal counsel and human rights advocate. Mr Robertson has been a UN War Crimes Judge, Counsel for notable Old Bailey trials, defence counsel for many men facing the death sentence in the Carribean and has won landmark rulings on civil liberty from the highest courts in Britain, Europe and across the Commonwealth.

From a boyhood in Eastwood to Law at Sydney University and beyond, Geoffrey Robertson is "Rather His Own Man." This current literary offering is published by Penguin Random House and Geoffrey Robertson tells of his distinguished life in law and beyond media with wit and wisdom.

This coming Thursday, there is an opportunity to attend a Bookoccino exclusive event at the Avalon Surf Lifesaving Club, Avalon Beach with Mr Geoffrey Robertson QC.

The event commences at 6pm with oysters and champagne on arrival and antipasti buffet, finger foods and beverages included.
