Whether you missed Bob Dylan's recent performance at The Entertainment Centre, or you were lucky enough to see him, and you are still craving for more, there is an opportunity to see two of Adelaide's musical giants Aussie Bob (John Hastwell) and Young Neil (Stuart Day) perform with remarkable authenticity many of the acoustic and electric masterpieces of Bob Dylan and Neil Young.
Hastwell and Day have gathered a strong following from Bob Dylan and Neil Young followers with their faithfully performed country, folk, rock and blues music at various hotel gigs and Fringe programs around Adelaide.
So who are John Hastwell and Stuart Day?
John Hastwell is a renowned blues and slide guitar and harmonica teacher. For over 25 years John has been part of the Adelaide music scene. He has not a only performed on numerous tours, gigs and recording sessions, but also played with Eric Bogle, Chris Jagger (Mick's brother), Vernon Reid during the Adelaide Guitar Festival and Bernadette Peters at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival. He was also a supporting act for Eric Burton (of the Animals).
Stuart Day has been playing Neil Young's music since he heard his recording with Crazy Horse of "Tonight's the Night" in 1975.
