Down the main streets of Coburg dwells the 8th Nerve Café. Driving past you'll miss it as its inconspicuous frontage faces a massive homemaker centre across the road.

While my friends and I were finding a place to sit down, it had a steady stream of locals taking advantage of the quality coffee on offer.

All together we ordered a cappuccino, chai and hot chocolate, everyone was satisfied. The coffee is good here.

In Coburg there seems to be an unofficial coffee art competition and from my pic of the hot chocolate I think 8th Nerve is a solid contender.

Not a café to neglect the tummy tantrums, there were generous sized sandwiches on rye and wholemeal bread with fillings including marinated eggplant, fancy ham cheese and tomato and Portuguese chicken.

I like it because the food is fresh and tasty ,but as with a lot of these smaller cafes, it's getting popular and table space can be hard to find and it's obviously a local small business.

Ultimately before tackling any homemaker centre 8th Nerve will make sure you're decently watered and fed and don't forget to try the Portuguese tarts, going, going gone!
