Fresh bread and delicious cakes everyday in Sydney

85C (85 Degrees) is a popular Taiwanese chain of coffee shops and self-serve bakeries with over 1000 locations worldwide. A new Sydney location recently opened in George St, Sydney.

The journey began in Taiwan, where the first shop was opened in July 2004 by owner Wu Chen-Hseuh and in just over a decade, over 1000 franchises have spread across Taiwan, China, Australia and America.

85C are always thinking of new ways to satisfy your cravings and they aim to serve the most delectable coffee, breads and cakes.

The name of 85C means "the best serving temperature of a coffee needs to be at 85C" and 85C specialise in fancy Asian cakes, assorted artisan breads, coffee and tea.

You may wonder why this bakery is so popular?

85C has a wide range of cakes, breads and coffee selection. Their signature must-try item is the pearl milk tea! You can keep up with the latest flavours on the official Facebook.

as a local we've recently visited this fairly new place several times - some intriguing creative pastries - I liked the coffee mochi & redbean thing - and some of their bread, tho' expensive at $3 for a small roll - is pretty moreish !

Something different from the previous 85C which has been one block up George St closer to the cinemas for a few years and seemed to have been mostly sweet cakes which are not my cup of tea.

Try it before they stop trying !
