is the perfect place to stop for a quirky and satisfying bite to eat. The menu consists entirely of toasted sandwiches, but there is plenty of variety. There are plain options such the "Ain't Easy Being Cheesy", which contains three types of cheese on white bread, as well as more exciting concoctions like the "Turkey Nougue" featuring shaved turkey, cranberry sauce, and smashed avo. There is one vegan option which is packed full of vegetables instead of the usual cheese-on-cheese. With so many options, it is difficult to choose. 8 Seeds is the type of place where you want to try everything on the menu. For dessert, there are two sweet toasties made with brioche and liberal amounts of sugary toppings. All toasties are $10 or under. Keep an eye out on their Facebook page for promotions - I went on Toastie Tuesday when all toasties were $6 each.



I ordered the 'Hero Toastie' which featured spicy sujuk sausage and mass amounts of cheese, while my friend ordered the Mexican-inspired 'Nacho Problem' toastie. Our toasties were ready within five minutes. Toasties may be fairly simple, but 8 Seeds does an amazing job of making them exciting with just the right amount of melted cheese enclosed within perfectly browned toast.





8 Seeds joins a growing suite of exciting shops, eateries, and activities in the Moorabbin Junction area . It is located close to Moorabbin Station in a tiny wedge-shaped store with just enough room for a miniature kitchen and a couple of tables. More spacious seating is available outside, or you may choose to eat your toastie on the go.
